Farsi Language Classes
سلام
Learn Farsi at Santa Monica Language Academy. Speak Farsi the very first day!
Farsi (Persian) is one of the oldest languages in the world and dates back to the great Persian Empire of the 6th century BC. It is spoken by over 45 million people in Iran and more than 8 million in Afghanistan where it is known as Dari. It is the most important language of the Iranian branch of the Indo-European family of languages. Persian originated in southern Iran in an area called Parsa, now still called Fars. Today the language is known as Farsi. The Farsi weekly and intensive classes are structured into three levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced. Each level is divided into four sub-levels: A, B, C, and D. For times and days of Farsi lessons please check our Weekly Schedule. We currently offer online Farsi group and private classes. |
